We have 38 dual rear wheel trucks in stock across Dallas, Austin and Houston: F-350 and F-450 duallies, F-550s and 3500HDs, nearly all of them diesel. If you are towing a fifth wheel or gooseneck anywhere near the top of its rating, the extra pair of rear tires is not a style choice, it is the payload and stability you actually need. Every truck below is on the ground today at one of our three Texas lots, priced with no hidden dealer fees.
Go dually (DRW) if your pin or tongue weight is pushing past roughly 2,500 lbs, if you tow a large fifth wheel or gooseneck regularly, or if you haul in wind on open highway. Two extra rear tires add payload capacity and lateral stability, and they give you a limp-home margin if a rear tire lets go under load.
Stay single rear wheel (SRW) if the truck is also a daily driver. An SRW parks in normal spaces, fits standard car washes and drive-throughs, costs less on a tire replacement (four rear tires instead of six over its life is real money), and rides better empty.
The honest short version: payload usually runs out before towing capacity does, and the dually is what fixes payload. If you are within 80 percent of your current truck’s pin weight rating, you want the dually.
The F-450 pickup is the top of Ford’s Super Duty pickup line and is dually only, with a wider rear track, bigger brakes and the highest conventional and fifth wheel tow ratings Ford puts in a pickup body. We usually have a handful in stock, in Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum trim, and they move quickly.
If nothing above is an F-450 today, call before you drive out, we move trucks between our three stores for customers and often have one in transit or arriving.
A lifted dually is its own discipline: the rear track is wider, so tire, wheel offset and fender clearance all have to be right or the truck rubs under articulation. We do this work in-house rather than buying finished trucks at auction, which means we can tell you what kit is on the truck and whether the alignment was redone afterward.

Nearly every dually we stock is a diesel: Power Stroke in the Fords, Cummins in the Ram 3500s, Duramax in the GM trucks, because torque is the whole point of the configuration. Engine-by-engine comparison and our full diesel inventory: diesel trucks for sale.
